After graduating high school in Douglasville, GA, Joni attended Young Harris College where she received an Associates Degree in Fine Arts. She then moved to South Georgia to obtain her bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University.

Joni loves to sing, dance, and act and also enjoys baking. She feels entirely blessed and thanks God for the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful company as ETC. Joni moved to the area in February 2009 with her husband, Brandon Smithwick.
