Dave graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Following a year of post-graduate education at Mercer University, Dave was accepted into the P.I. Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University where he received his Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.

Dave has served as the Sports Director for ETC 3 since 2002 and has maintained a professional relationship with Georgia Public Broadcasting as a play-by-play announcer for the GHSA State football and basketball championships. He brings over 15 years of broadcast knowledge and experience to ETC 3.

Fun Fact: Dave’s grandfather, the late Blaine Walsh, was a broadcaster with the Milwaukee Braves and won Broadcaster of the Year honors in 1965. He also hosted a weekly program with legendary Green Bay Packer coach Vince Lombardi in addition to his duties as play-by-play announcer for the University of Wisconsin Badgers.
