Cherie Martin began her career in television when a young reporter visited with her for an interview. The two quickly became friends and soon were producing a short segment on ETC every Thursday for North Georgia Now News. The rest is history. Cherie began producing a 30minute program that aired in Greenville, Atlanta and then eventually worldwide. 15 time telly award winning Heart of the Home was born and soon opened the door for the job hosting North Georgia Now TODAY.

The owner of a trucking company and a licensed realtor, television is not her first job but certainly her first love. It is obvious to viewers who tune in daily for that "Cherie" fix of positive thoughts and addictive laughter. Life is good for Cherie Martin and she shares that each day. Cherie grew up in Atlanta and Orlando. The "city girl" soon became a country girl and today lives in Jasper in a farming community with her young son Nicholas. Her favorite saying is "A Day in The Country is Worth a Month in Town."
